About Ruben
Ruben leads AGL’s Agri-Food, Nutrition & Packaging practice, helping clients solve complex talent challenges across these sectors. With more than 15 years of experience in executive search at global firms such a ZRG and Carmichael Fisher, he specializes in building leadership teams across the full value chain, from inputs and ingredients through to application, packaging, and go-to-market execution.
In recent years, Ruben has worked closely with mid-market private equity firms and their portfolio companies across food, agribusiness, nutrition, and packaging, advising on executive hiring strategies tied to growth and value creation. Prior to co-founding AGL, he built and led practices at international search firms in both Europe and the US.
Ruben works across North America, EMEA, and APAC and, having lived and worked across these regions, brings a global perspective with a practical understanding of local talent markets.
